
Larry joined Digital Defense in August of 2002. Prior to joining Digital Defense, Larry was Co-Founder and President of International Operations for Elastic Networks, Incorporated. During his tenure at Elastic Networks, Larry held several key leadership positions in support of the company's business growth objectives, three financial events-two private rounds of financing and an initial public offering, and the successful acquisition of the company by Paradyne Corporation in March 2002.
Larry introduced EtherLoop-based products to the market in 1999 as the company's VP of Research & Development. EtherLoop is an Ethernet-based digital subscriber line (DSL) technology. Larry was VP of Manufacturing Operations in 2000 where he was responsible for ensuring that the company's business growth was effectively supported through the efficient manufacture of EtherLoop-based products.
Prior to Elastic Networks, Larry held senior management positions at Nortel Networks. His last assignment was VP of Business Line Management in Nortel Networks. Access Networks Division. He has held international assignments in Hong Kong and Tokyo to lead organizations in the establishment or growth of their Asia Pacific businesses.
Larry holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Dave is responsible for all financial management functions at DDI and brings more than 30 years of financial management, marketing, sales and general management experience in the high-technology field to the company.
Prior to joining DDI, Dave served as CFO of DataFoundry.net, Inc., a managed hosting provider; CFO of AssetWorks, Inc., a facilities management software developer; and CFO/COO for PC Wholesale Corporation of San Antonio.
Prior to that, he spent 13 years with Datapoint Corporation serving as a regional and group Controller, Director of Distributor Operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and finally as CFO and acting VP of Pacific operations. Dave began his career at NCR Corporation where he served for 9 years in a variety of positions in corporate finance and accounting.
Dave holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University.

As the Chief Compliance Officer of Digital Defense, Tom DeSot is charged with developing and maintaining relationships with key industry and market regulators; functioning as the “face of DDI” through public speaking initiatives, and serving as the prime regulatory compliance resource for external and internal contacts. Tom also serves as the company's internal auditor on security-related matters. Tom gained much of his controls experience during his 16 years in the financial industry.
Prior to joining Digital Defense, Tom was Vice President of Information Systems for a mid-tier financial institution in San Antonio, Texas. While there, Tom was responsible for managing numerous institution-wide projects ranging from information security initiatives, the Y2K program and the installation and implementation of both home banking and bill pay products. Tom also managed the institution's ATM/debit card program as well as all ATM network activities.
Prior to this, Tom served as an Assistant Vice President for Bank of America, Texas N.A. where he was responsible for operations at two local offices. Throughout his career, Tom has held positions in virtually every financial institution business line and remains well versed in financial institution regulations as they pertain to information security and financial institution operations.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University where he graduated summa cum laude. He is heavily involved in San Antonio's network security community and formerly served on the board of directors for the Alamo Chapter of Information Systems Security Association. He is currently a member of ISSA, ASIS, and ISACA, the latter of which he serves on the board of the San Antonio chapter. He also serves on both on both a Supervisory/Audit Committee and Technology Committee, the former of which he serves as Chairman.
In addition, Tom holds the National Security Agency's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology Certification and is formally trained in the OCTAVE Risk Assessment Methodology.

Mark is responsible for management of the Company's information security and client support operations. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivery of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, policy, and risk assessments as well as providing world-class client support to Digital Defense's client base.
Mark rejoined Digital Defense after a 3 1/2-year absence working for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he served as a Senior Systems Engineer and Deputy Lead Technical Architect for the Air Force-wide Vulnerability Lifecycle Management System (VLMS) Systems Engineering & Integration effort. While at SAIC, Mark co-invented and served as the lead technical architect for the patent-pending Computer Network Defense Exercise (CNDX) and Team Defend network defense training systems. Prior to SAIC, Mark worked in his initial capacity with Digital Defense. Mark served as Digital Defense's Director of Security Operations, leading a team of security analysts in providing information security services to the Company's client base at the time.
Prior to initially joining Digital Defense, Mark served as a Senior Information Security Engineer for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) on the Air Force Information Warfare Center's (AFIWC) Computer Security Engineering Team. Mark also served for over 20 years in the United States Air Force in both Active and Reserve components before retiring in February 2009. During his time in the Air Force, Mark worked in the Intelligence and Computer Security fields, most recently serving as a Senior Network Security Engineer with the 92nd Information Operations Squadron, Air Force Information Operations Center. In this capacity, he served as a Team Chief and Technical Lead in performing Red and Blue Team security assessments around the world in support of various commands, agencies and operations.
Mr. Bell holds a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University.

Gordon joined Digital Defense in November 2002. He is responsible for strategic design, planning, and establishment of platform road maps, new platform development initiatives, and maintenance of the Company’s security information event management platforms and proprietary assessment solutions. Gordon also oversees the Platform Development architecture as well as manages the Platform Development and Vulnerability Research organizations. He led the development team in the architecture, design and implementation of the Frontline 3.0 security information portal and its underlying Service Oriented Architecture platform - the Digital Defense Network Security Awareness System.
Gordon started his career in 1991 as a systems engineer at Nortel Networks in Ottawa Canada where he designed Interactive Voice Response systems. In 1993, he joined the Switching division and contributed towards platform features within the ISDN Connections group.
Prior to joining Digital Defense, he held several research and development leadership positions at Alcatel USA in Dallas Texas. In his last assignment at Alcatel, he led the Call Server Database Team with the inception and design of a real time in-memory database that is used in the Alcatel Softswitch. During his tenure at Alcatel, Gordon designed numerous telecommunications features inclusive of call processing as well as platform features.
Gordon holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering from McGill University, Montreal Canada. He has received several academic scholarships during his studies.

Greg leads Digital Defense's global Sales and Marketing function and is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, brand development and product positioning into the market. He is also a member of Digital Defense's Executive Management Team which defines and ensures execution of the Company's business strategies.
Greg brings over 20 years of global IT and Telecommunications experience to Digital Defense. Prior to joining Digital Defense, Greg was Director of Sales and Business Development for WiMax at Cisco Systems. Greg joined Cisco upon the acquisition of Navini Networks where Greg was Executive Vice President of Global Sales. Prior to that, Greg had been the Vice President of Sales at Terabeam and Ensemble Communications. Greg has also held several executive positions in sales and marketing during a 10-year career at Nortel Networks including Vice-President and General Manager of North Asia Mobility and Vice President of Marketing for Nortel's broadband wireless access group. During his tenure in Nortel, Greg had extensive international experience, including several offshore assignments in Asia Pacific. Greg started his career in operations and marketing at Bell Atlantic.
Greg earned an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech.

Ross joined Digital Defense in November 2004. He brings a rich portfolio of experience that includes quality assurance, configuration, and network lab management. Much of his knowledge comes from working with large-enterprise software development companies on a variety of both enterprise and consumer level products.
Before joining Digital Defense, Ross served as an SQA Engineer for McAfee/Foundstone on their flagship vulnerability assessment product. Ross was instrumental in delivering robust, automated processes and tools, which expedited product delivery. Ross also worked for Symantec Corporation for a period of 3 years, providing quality assurance on several enterprise level security products, such as host and network based IDS, firewall and vulnerability assessment products.
