Security Evaluation & Certification Testing

Client Requirements

Information Technology solution providers need a more proactive means of evaluating the security performance of their products in a client environment. They also need a means of determining the readiness of their platforms to be subjected to government testing or other industry-recognized security standards. Providing feedback to design teams earlier in the new product introduction process will result in lower field support costs as the product is deployed into the general marketplace.

Digital Defense provides Security Testing and Quality Assurance solutions to clients using a consultative services approach that is based on Digital Defense’s proprietary technology. These services include, but are not limited to the joint development of Statements of Work (SOW), development of new tools and the evaluation of third-party solutions for comprehensive testing coverage based on the mutually agreed-to SOW, the creation and execution of test cases based on the SOW, and final results reporting.

Pre-launch Product Testing provides organizations with a single, time-limited evaluation of targeted platforms (i.e., new, upgraded, or up-issued) prior to their general market launch. Certification Testing is also geared towards single, time-limited engagements, but the evaluation criteria has typically been pre-determined by an existing government or industry standard. Product Lifecycle Security Management is a Retained Services offering that is well suited for organizations that have multiple products scheduled for release during a given calendar year.
